Lindsey Masterson

Lindsey Masterson is the co-founder and owner of Cheetah Design Studio. Having grown up in Milford NH, and currently living in Peterborough, New Hampshire, Lindsey is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and businesses. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire (UNH) with a degree in Studio Art, she worked for a variety of companies implementing and developing their marketing departments but ultimately decided to start her own company with her mother Jan Burkhardt in 2005. Since then Jan has retired and is enjoying life as a grandmother and a realtor recently. Throughout the years, Lindsey has led a very active lifestyle, competing in hundreds of running races, triathlons, and cross-country skiing competitions. In addition to running Cheetah Design Studio, Lindsey has been working on a patent for a sports product (www.drinkbeltcase.com), she coaches a youth Nordic ski program (www.dublinxc.com), Girls On The Run coach, serves on UNH Ski Board, and also Dublin XC’s board. 

Why Web Development?
It’s the root of CDS. Jan would take the photographs, and Lindsey would build the websites. As mother & daughter, they created a great team not only working but in life. Since Jan’s retirement in 2015 Lindsey has used her art degree and stepped away from the computer into the fresh air and does photography. Building websites and helping businesses grow are what bring great joy for Lindsey. Talk to any past client and they will say “She brings the energy to her website projects, and makes it fun”. Working with small businesses to afford websites will always be Lindsey’s goal.

Why do you love photography?
I love the unpredictability of working with children, capturing their true personalities and the moments they think no one else is watching. Knowing one day these moments, captured on film, will be shown to them when they are adults and then to their children. This is a truly humbling experience. I am so honored to be part of these families’ lives and tell their stories through pictures. Lindsey’s known as the fun-loving, energetic, always smiling woman, the woman behind the lens! Regardless of the situation, she will make you laugh and bring out the best in you and your family for the camera. For all those who say they are not comfortable in front of the camera, they have not worked with Lindsey – she will make you a believer and ensure your true personality shines through! Lindsey’s energy is infectious and she’s always able to capture the moment.
