Photography Classes

When the River Center asked me if I would volunteer to teach young girls in the area about photography for their program Adventure Girls I immediately said YES. Then very thought; oh crap. I can’t teach, I’ve never taught, what will I do with these young girls, they’re going to think it’s so boring, what will we take pictures of….aaaahhhh. After many weeks of overthinking the day finally came. We started in the morning so when I talked they just looked at me like they wanted to go back to bed. We then very quickly changed the atmosphere and went outside with our devices (had them take phones with cameras). I started to teach them about lighting. I would set them up to fail for a shot, and then set them up for the perfect lighting. Gosh who knew I could actually teach and also enjoy it. I might have a new career.

So if you saw a handful of middle schoolers with a crazy photographer running around Depot Square in Peterborough NH that was just us.
