Livingston Park, Manchester NH – Engagement Session

Engagement sessions are special for the photographer and for the couples. We use engagement sessions as ‘warmups’ for the wedding date. Being in-front of a camera isn’t normal for most people and often feels uncomfortable.

“That wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be” is often what I hear after an engagement session. I try (and I think succeed) to make my couples feel comfortable, and natural. Personally; I hate getting my picture taken, and I think because of that I work well with others who feel the same.

This engagement of Kate & Craig was done at Livingston Park, Manchester NH. It was a park that meant something to them, they felt comfortable there, and it was a beautiful NH park. It was my first time there, and it’s a pretty cool park with a small pond, pool, playground, soccer fields, and a playing ground for photographers (smiling now). I really had fun working with Kate & Craig. They’re a beautiful couple, and when I left there I thought to myself “I can’t wait for their wedding”.
